What is a Cable Eye for?

I found a JVC Cable Eye in my house, and don’t really know what it’s for. Anyone know?

Answer 1

This is used with JVC VHS Recorders

The JVC Cable Eye is a small infrared transmitter that connects to the VCR. You put the cable eye in front of your cable or satellite box, and the VCR’s record timer can now change the channel on your box. So, if you want to record Speed Channel on cable channel 107, you simply program the VCR to record that channel, and at the scheduled time, the VCR will tell the cable box to change to that channel.

It depends on whether you cut the skin or not. A break in the tissue is an opening that could get infected. If there is no break in the tissue and only a small red spot which is just a broken blood vessel, leave it alone. The blood should be totally absorbed in about 3 weeks.

Answer 5

If its a tiny spot and not growing, don’t worry about it. You popped a small blood vessel… its not uncommon. Sometimes you can pop them by even just rubbing your eye. If it gets bigger, then go to the eye doctor.
