please helppp only question im stuck on?

Which logarithmic graph can be used to approximate the value of y in the equation 3y = 4?

Answer 1

Perhaps you mean 3^y = 4
Take logarithms base 10 of both sides:
log(3^y) = log(4)
But log(3^y) = y*log(3)
y = log(4)/log(3) = 1.261859
Thus 3^1.261859 = 4
Could have used natural logs
Ln(3^y) = yLn(3) = Ln(4) —–> y = Ln(4)/Ln(3) = 1.261859

Answer 2

No logs needed
y = 3/4
