In the movie “Encino Man” what was the phrase Brendan Fraser’s character said in spanish when at the bar?

It was something about the cheese being moldy or something along those lines…. He was talking to the Mexican guy when he said it. He was repeating the phrase he learned in Spanish class at the high school. I can’t think of it! Please help me!

Answer 1

Spanish: “El queso está viejo y pútrido. ¿Dónde está el sanitario?”

I don’t know how to say it in Spanish, but he says “The cheese is old and moldy. Where is the bathroom?”

Something like “el queso es viejo y (moldy). Donde esta el bano”

Answer 5

Neither, but close. Remember that there are no ‘le lo l le la’s in Spanish, for sake of phonetics. You would say “A mi padrasto le gusta tambien.” Or “A el le gusta tambien” You can also say “A mi padrastoa se lo gusta tambien” – “My stepfather likes it too” Literally “To my stepfather it is pleasing also” Think of ‘gustar’ to be pleasing too, and it’ll be a little easier for you. Good luck
