In d&d 3.5 edition, what is the effect of a Paladin’s Aura of Good?

In dungeons and dragons 3.5 edition, what is the effect of a Paladin’s Aura of Good?

Answer 1

That’s it. The Aura of Good doesn’t give the Paladin any benefits or special abilities, it just means that they will be detected by a detect good spell. (This can be a drawback, as an evil caster could detect your presence using this spell, and given a couple of rounds could estimate how powerful you are by the auras power.) Detect Evil and Detect Good are on p. 218-219 in the Players Handbook, and provide more information about detecting such auras.

Answer 3

Answer 4

Nothing other than allowing things that detect alignments to find you wherever you may hide.
